  1. Yeah happened to me on one run through. Tought it was some endurence test thing. But it does end after some time..like 10-20mins maybe at which point one large group spawns and it's done. But I think it has to deal with how close you are to Mandalore as to when it cues the cutscene to get to from Dxun to Onderon. If your not close enough it just keeps spawning them.
  2. Got another one to add. The Telos cut-scene of landing or leaving Telos station shows you docking in bay 2 (center bay), while in game it is bay 1 (rightside bay). This is still unfixed in the updated hi-res patch for them....love to know how this even got approved to send to beta testing then even more so being cleared by beta testers. ----- You only run into HK-50's on 3 locations: Peragus, Telos, Nar Shaada...but need to go to a fourth location to get all the parts. The parts dropped by HK-50's are not random, while the ones that are bought are random. How ever this is still bugged in the fact that even if random it should not spawn the ones you have already collected as pointing to the fact that HK-47 is unique, one of a kind and thus so should his parts. That is what I'm pointing at. With obtaning the trasnponder code..why would you beable to obtan outside of the warehouse if it is not possable to get the blank transponder card outside the warehouse in which you obtan a code with the card? Thats what I'm pointing at. Again to point tot he fact that Kreia can get influeince adjustments while not in party while even Visas can't. Kreia is doing this through her force sight, not the force bond...that bond can not tell the other what your doing only give an idea of what your feeling and physical pain. Visas only can see with force sight..love to know how Visas's can miss a target with that o.O, distracted maybe.
  3. Well the work around is doing better. At least the droid special weapons are no longer a waste to have around. They should have never removed the option of letting droids use them on their own. Haveing the droids set to anything with out this AI tweak...the droids never use those weapons.

  5. KoToR1 had the option to set the droids to that, so to use the droid special weapons on their own. With current..unless you enable in the INI to use the droid special weapons you have to control the droid your self.
  6. It is the tool causeing the C++ run time error crashs. I have to not only uninstall the tool but also the game to fix it. After that no crash's, no graphical flashing.
  7. Well I can't figure out whats cuasing this issue. Updated all the the drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled allt he drivers. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game. No other apps running. Updated windows. Get these screen flashs..just the non static models flash, static do not. Then after either a couple or has been a couple times a couple hours and still didn't..during those long times the graphics never flashed. --------- After some researching part of the issue might be the motherboard isn't routing voltages currectly to the AGP. That is a staple problem people have noted about this board.
  8. Adnormal program tormination, swkotor2.exe. There is graphical flashing before the crash, so it might be video relaited. But the only thing that has canged in the hardware and drivers is the motherboard has 8xAGP instead of 4xAGP. The mods in the save aren't the cause as I had all of them running before this started with no issues. And I haven't downloaded any new mods. I did find a driver update for the motherboard for it's chipset which controls the AGP 3.0..so that might likely be one cause.
  9. All the error message says is C++ run time error. If/when it crashs again I take a screenshot of it...but it's not too dicriptive and I can't find any error logs.

  11. It's not the tool crashing, it's the game crashing. I only have KoToR2 installed...and the tool installs and looks for things for KoToR1 as well. So that might be part of the issue..but I doubt it. I downloaded and installed the most recent version. Kotor Tool v1.0.2210.16738 (2006-1-19 12:38)
  12. Uninstalled it. No crash's now. So Obveusly it was the tool causeing the issue.

  14. About every 30mins of game play, crash with a run time error. Only started doing this after installing the KoToR Tool. Might also be linked to new motherboard installed running at 8xAGP instead of the others 4xAGP...the new motherboard I don't see as being the issue.
  15. kinda hard to even get low influeince with her when there is times that you either get an adjustment up/down or none....but not an adjustment the other way. Other times reguardless of what you say it's only one out come..up.
  16. Well it is more then just the urge to pick up loot here. That true problem is that loot is dropped but you are not aloud to pick any of it up. So the question is: If you are not aloud to pick it up, then why have it drop at all? It is just unneeded cluter that could have been easily avoided by asigning all NPCs in said room to not be linked to any random drop table.
  17. Onderon Palace, counsoul room NPCs should drop no loot. Once you have taken care of the genereal you are forced to deal with Kavor. I for one hate leaving behind any loot...I go out of my way to pick it up.
  18. Well if your goign lightside you kinda have to let her have her way. Darkside you can say what you want. Thou shes is 50/50 on the light/dark side she does tend to be more dark sided on thoughts then light sided. Which entitles to having to pick very wise on whats said to keep from getting DS points while not losing influience...many times reloading because of that.
  19. Morrowind has more issues with clipping, but has like 12 meshs to make up the full body at least. Neverwinter which is same engine does have long hair and when designing outfits again like Morrowind is 12 meshs how ever in game it is 2 head and body though the body is made up of 10 and the head is 2. You have the head it's self then what goes on the head be it hair or helm, most helms replace the hair..but there are also overlying meshs that do not remove the hair. With Morrowind to complacate things even farther items are labeled clothing and armor in which then you can wear 2 layers of outfits for an even more altered look, thou it can be funny seeing 26 meshs all trying to coup with each other but usealy succeeding. These 26 meshs being: head, hair, overly helm, cloak, skirt, chest_clothing, chest_armor, hands, feet, thigh_right_clothing, ankle_right_clothing, forearm_right_clothing, shoulder_right_clothing, thigh_right_armor, ankle_right_armor, forearm_right_armor, shoulder_right_armor, thigh_left_clothing, ankle_left_clothing, forearm_left_clothing, shoulder_left_clothing, thigh_left_armor, ankle_left_armor, forearm_left_armor, shoulder_left_armor. Make note that Morrowind's engine TES is less advanced then Neverwinter/KoToR's Aurora. Morrowinds does not allow for flowing items so everything is stiff and moves only with the body part it is asigned. KoToR is the only one fo the 3 meantioned not useing long hair mesh's on the models.
  20. Having the head and body models seperate never stopped other titles from having the long hair for the heads. Nearly every game that I know of is that way. Ever seen Morrowind...people don't care about clipping as long as it still looks good to them.
  21. Another one to add. And this one is funny. "Attack of the Clones". On Dantooine if you click on the stuck door an NPC spawns and tells you it's broken and to leave it alone. Ok first time event fine NPC despawns. How ever repeated clicks on the door the NPC spawns but gives no message so he is not cued to despawn. Now farther clicks on the door..until you get bored of it you can spawn this clone army. Which I think that clone army might count to the aidding the militia thing.
  22. Any way to get a head with longer then neck length hair? I know a couple of the NPCs got longer hair. But tried useing those with the save editer...but can't use those and equip some key outfits. But there seems to bea trend of short haired females in ALL of SW. Not looking for a__ length hair mid back is fine. But neck length is abit too short...there is hair that looks like it would be that long but it's all rolled and bunned up to be again neck length:/
  23. Only way to gain influience with her is to choose manipulitive and unattached responses. Also unlike ALL the other party NPCs she does not ajust her light/darkside standing it remains forever locked at 50/50. The driods even adjust in light/dark side. I got dark side party NPCs to eventualy turn lightside.
  24. Minor: Nar Shaddaa, Fassa's dead body is found in the tunnels under Jakk Jakk Tar, yet after returning from getting G0-T0 you find him back standing his post at the docks. This body you find needs to be someone else's body as this NPC is linked to too many quests that can only be completed once you return from G0-T0's ship. Critical: Telos, Lt Grenns quests can not be brought up in convo after leaving Telos the first time. Minor: Nar Shaddaa, Twin Suns are killed in the fight in the cantina with Atton. But are seen again on G0-T0's ship after they get killed. Minor: Nar Shaddaa, You can enter the Jakk Jakk Tar at any time with out a suit or even gas mask before or after going for Vistil and not be affected by gas. Minor: Nar Shaddaa, You can get transponder codes to change the Ebon Hawk from the pylons but you can't find a blank transponder until you got through Vottos warehouse where you get both at that time. So why can you get the codes and not the blank transponder with out going in the warehouse? Minor: Kreia has influence adjustments with your actions even if not being in your party...I think due to bond thing. How ever Visas does not though she is in more touch with the force and seeing things then Kreia ever can, so why can't she adjust the same way? Minor: You can buy and find multiple copies of HK parts, yet you almost have to visit every planet to even get all that is needed? So why not keep the copies of each part to one? Critical: When you talk to HK and you still have the voice recorder you get the droid factory quest topic. But from what I hear that quest got cut and is not doable. So why keep the topic in HKs list? Minor: Onderon, After talking to Kavor he says he'll inform the jedi councilors to meet at Dantooine. Yet you still have to personally tell them all. Minor: Telos, the cutscene has you landing and leaving the docking bay 2. The in station map and NPC dialouge has you in docking bay 3. ------------ How does so many watermelon in grape bunch size inconsistences even make it to beta testing let alone past beta testing? The beta testers should not have gone through such things..yet it makes it to final cut? What quality inspector wasn't doing their job ont his project?
  25. If you don't talk to him about them before the first time leaving Telos you never can. But if you do parts of them later and try coming back later due to the cut-scene from leaving Telos that is all he'll talk about and you can not bring up the topics of quests in your active list even.
