  1. Agreed, this was pretty disconcerting. I realize that the scenario fell through due to my choices, even if they appeared diplomatic to me, but I felt bad mowing through these relatively harmless drunks even though they started it - it's not like Aloth didn't provoke them. I really like the idea of defeated kith being knocked out unless they've been slain with magic or certain weapons that would all but ensure death.
  2. I can honestly say I've never had this problem. I'll agree that in certain tightly-packed skirmishes Wizards have limited utility with their AoE spells taken off the table, but they excel at any other instance and frankly Durance is one of my party's MVP's. As others have said, both classes have a permenant place in my party.
  3. I enjoy exploration, and usually find it smooth in PoE. The only real complaint I have is that I've always thought fog of war in most games looks awful despite realizing it serves a valid purpose. PoE probably could have managed to expand your field of view a bit after you've explored an area, or perhaps dissipate the fog entirely after fully exploring an area.
  4. This Orlan Rogue's a bit too "cute" for me but it's excellent nonetheless - could be the perfect fit for someone else.
  5. People dislike romance in games because it tends to be poorly written, and encourages players to fill an invisible affection meter as some sort of metric for human relationships - sometimes the meter is plain as day, making the system even more embarrassingly gamey. That said, if romance in PoE was held to the same excellent standard as the rest of the game's writing, what's the problem? Are people worried it'd foster a certain waifu element in the community? That seems like more of community management problem than an actual concern with the game. In my perspective, the more choices and opportunities afforded the player to roleplay, the better. Having the option to instigate a romance with certain characters could only help further flesh out your character and their story. So long as it makes sense within the narrative, what's the problem?
