Your blog's so awesome it nearly makes Myspace cool. ( Just nearly though, so, nyaah! ) Please, you guys should somehow slip that Perlman's threating you mp3 in Aliens as Eastern Egg Maybe you could make voice record of some marine officer yelling at poor conscript named Avellone that could be opened with proper skill check/whatever.
I'd ship you bunch of watermelons from the old continent for it!
So, when are we going to get some info on Project Georgia? After Christmas? I hope we don't have to wait for E3, after all, Aliens was announced early. That game has really gathered much interest in it, especially after the "CIA spy-thriller" rumor so some satisfaction to our curiosity would be lovely
Also, I really must start reading these
Yet another promising relationship dissolved abruptly, he sighed and looked down at her signature written there, and he thought maybe it was foolish of him to get tattoos of all their names

Whatever the end result is MotB team definetly would deserve the price. Best CRPG in - hell, I don't even know how many - long, long years and definetly in my Top 10 games ever, propably even Top 5 Plot, storytelling etc. is superb
Ugh, now that sounded like brown nosing.
Anyway, I'm curious if you can answer this question. Pretty please... Of course, if you can't ignore this by all means.
Since Sawyer is now Creative Lead for Aliens in addition to his Lead Designer status, what you're doing? Are you drifting from project to project, doing some work on PG, some on Aliens and something on the unknown third project? Or do you work mainly on one of these and do some lesser work with other ones (like you did with MotB while you were CL for Aliens I guess)?
Or are you going to be Lead Designer on third project or something (I guess it's NX2, since it's supposed to be PC title...)?
Just average fan with bunch of questions, heh.
-
Heh heh, you must be the sort of person who answers "yes" to every question right?
My initial response to everything tend to be no so you're wrong. Horribly.
"Dude would you" "NO"

I bought the special edition of NWN2 expecting an improved NWN, but instead I end up with a game I don't enjoy 5% as much. I haven't bought Motb and won't until I start to see drastic fixes on NWN2 as a whole. People who think a MP solution will miraculously appear in an expansion pack are mugs.
Then why you're answering in "How far have you gotten in MotB" poll, genius?

One of the Top Ten RPG's and definetly best one in many, many years.
Huge congratz to Obz team! Keep up with the great work
I've finished it 1 and half time. However, I have 4 other characters planned for MotB already...

How much coding would it have been? A spell-like ability or two to bring up a menu to establish whether you're a leader or a participant, what options you want to tweak for the spell's output, a script to deplete the members' spells on use, a script to check the party is in proximity of each other? CAKE.
That would have been a kludgey way to do it. Which would have caused even more complaints.
I understand your decision. However, is it possible we might someday get it with patch? (like, patch 1.56 or something )
-
Well, I'll wait with some small hopes patch 1.05 then
-
No, I tend to stay away from patches until they're finished. Besides, I heard it does nothing to performance.
-
I would like to know if we're going to get any performance boosts with 1.06. I certainly hope so.
My case is little bit...weird. With most people patch 1.03 enhanced performance greatly. With me it got worse. With 1.02 my game run smoothly, but after 1.03 I've met entity called as "lag" in NWN2.
I've finished the game, but the reason why I just can't bring myself to replay it is bad performance 1.03 caused.
Is there way to fix this?
