  1. I love playing the wizard explorer, journeying across the land, collecting new spells from the enemies I fell. But I don't particularly like the default red/yellow color of my grimoire. Any way to change the look or colour? Or perhaps take one of the looted grimoire and change it to my name? Is this possible?
  2. Mechanics is the only skill you need to increase, but you need to be in stealth mode to see it. You don't need any points in stealth, but you do need to be quite close to the object to detect it. I'm not sure what level of mechanics you need, but I had 2 points in mechanics from character creation to see them.
  3. The Shield-bearer Paladin human was my first character before I rerolled as a wizard. It was quite weak in melee, thus why you should probably not dump points from Might. You don't want your main character to deal mediocre damage while the rest of your party look awesome on the field. I don't think intelligence is important, and most of the time Perception and Resolve seem to come up in dialogues. I would say perception is the most important for a tank, and so is resolve. You might also want some points in Might since you still want to be doing damage; otherwise he'll just sit there like a rock, like Ceranai said. And with high enough deflection from maxing Per and Res, you could probably drop Con to 5, as Paladins have high endurance and health increases at level up anyway. I'm not sure, but stats like deflection probably don't increase at level up, which is why you want to max it at the start. Remember you're stuck with Attribute points, as they do not give more at level up. Also, try to be honest during quests, and diplomatic when solving a conflict between two parties, as this affect your disposition.
  4. Hello everyone, a newcomer to this forum... Just got to the first inn in the game and met Aloth before I decided to reroll as a wizard myself! The idea of having your own grimoire and filling it with spells as you journey across the land fascinated me! However, during level up, I'm not sure what skills to give my wizard. Character creation has already given me 3 free points in Lore, but it seems pointless to cast from scrolls when I can cast spells for free. Unless, of course, there are scroll-only spells; but are there any that make investing in Lore worthwhile, for a wizard? I also have 2 free points in Mechanics - very useful so far, but I don't want to invest in it if another follower who will soon join me, has. And as for Survival, it seems that potions are more for tanks and frontliners. Can you guys give me some ideas on what skills I should invest as a wizard? I'm playing on normal difficulty. Cheers.
