Who knows if it's working as intended, but it's certainly not working as described. The tooltip clearly describes the effect as a 'Foe Beam.' Ergo, it should only affect foes, which it isn't doing at the moment. No need to get snippy about the semantics of the title. The first line in the post body clarifies what's going on. I get the feeling you made an account just so you could correct someone's grammar. There is no red circle for Antipathetic Field, and even if it did, ted portion of circles signify team damage for spells that deal team damage... but they are still there for foe only spells, in which case they signify nothing in particular... like Eyestrike, for example. Targeting is foebeam but the next line doesn't state foebeam, indicating it hits everything. And I wasn't being snitty with my post just trying to give the poster the idea that it wasn't a bug and let him know he just understood/read it wrong. And to claim I just made up an account to nitpick over grammar when you apparently did the exact same thing based on my perceived intent for the message is fairly ironic. At least I answered his question whereas all you did by posting is try to attack me for trying to be helpful.

Working as intended. Also your subject implies you can 'Target' friendlies with this spell (which you can't) but in your description you state you are targeting the wolves and your npc is only getting hurt by the beam itself (as drawn between the wolf and you). There is a lot of friendly fire in this game, maybe you've seen the 2 circles for spells with a red inner circle and white outer one and possibly even read the loading screen hints talking about it? Where the inner circle hits everyone and the outer circle only hits enemies? Now some spells do indeed only affect enemies, but Antipathetic Field isn't one of them. You have to be careful in how you use it but then again for the insane damage you can get out of it as a 10 focus 1st level Cipher spell it's well worth the micro management required.
