Not completely sure if this is a bug, but I bet it is. Since illusions are a prohibited school to enchanter, trickster/enchanters can't use trickster spells, they are just greyed out. I assume this also applies to Conjurers but didn't test it. Funnily enough, trickster/illusionist on the other hand doesn't get increased power with the trickster spells. So in one case they count as wizard illusion spells, and in the other it doesn't.

I've been noticing the same thing. At level 12 I started paying attention to enemy deflection etc values, and they just seem to match bestiary with potd bonus, no additional scaling bonuses at all. Even human enemies have like +12 to deflection from levels, which means they are only level 4.

Doing a mouse over on different attacks at level 12 on potd with scaling on, I keep fighting enemies that only have +12 or so bonus to defences from levels. So they are just level 4. Also against some monsters, they only have the +15 to defences from Potd on, but nothing from scaling. For example a level 6 sand blight that I fought at level 12 only has the defences that bestiary says it does increased by that 15.

I lost my save to this bug today. I'm playing in Windows 7, so it's not just a mac problem. I'm not sure if it happened because I went to full screen from windowed and back, but it very well could be. I hit that accidentally today (alt-enter) and the bug happened after that. Even weirder, I started a new game on potd cause I had to, and that game changed to easy in the first area for no reason at all. I've closed and restarted the game between these occasions and now I'm reinstalling...
