I had an old Hamachi network thing in the background, removing it has also fixed the problem for me.

I don't have the symptoms Merina is describing, the common issue appears to be: 1. hangs for ~20-30s when switching to portrait select in the character creator 2. character VO (select/attack/choosing which voice etc) seem to be delayed by ~7s from triggering // Some issue with dialogue menu VO but things such as the opening chapter narration are fine, combat and movement noise is fine, menu noises seem fine etc 3. When going into the player character's inventory screen it is noticably slowed, taking 5-10s for the screen to pop up and any action involving the character model changing results in even more stalling/hanging Internal HDD, steam, no partitions afaik, I'm bad with computers. :'(

I just made an account to say that I am have exactly the same issues Windows 7 64bit i5 2500k p8p67 LE amd r9200 series (forget what exactly) 8gb ram I've tried everything I can think of, I was there when it went live on Steam hoping to play it and have spent hours trying to fix it but this problem is too jarring for me to play it, I want to experience it fully and am just praying for suggestions, a work around or a solution at this point. D:
