  1. i was more referring to Vice City not GTA3. And San Andreas coming out next week. From what ive read Rockstar used high def textures and models etc and than lowered everything for PS2 and Xbox. I am not and never will be a console jockey. PC all the way. And like i said I like KOTOR 2. Since KOTOR was done by Bioware and not Obsidian I dont refer to that in this post. Now that I see another PC game is in the works from Lucas, im sure KOTOR 2 will be a long way from getting the green flag on the latest corrections. I also second that the game looks great on my PC. Except for the movies which looked much better in Biowars KOTOR. I also have the stupid gamma problem of owning an ATI card. But that is whole seperate issue
  2. How is it Rockstar Games can make a game for PS2 and turn around and make it look better on PC? But Obsidian made a game for Xbox and cant make it better for PC? KOTOR 2 was a good game. But it could have been much better in the whole sound and video quality. Im not even going to start on content. I think Obsidian did a good job. But there is no reason that the PC version should not be superior than the Xbox versions in every way.
  3. My question is concerning the gamma settings. I have an ATI Radeon 9800Pro 256 MB Ram on a Windows XP SP 2 system Intel P4 1.5 (yes i know its below the recomeneded for this game) with about 700+MB of RAM. Almost all of my games, Call of Duty, max Payne 2, KOTOR 2 start up and switch to really dark settings. Has anyone gotten around these problems? I followed the tweak guides for the ATI and i still get the crazy gamma settings. Thanks to anyones help
  4. Im not sure where all the problems come from that others had. The game runs fine ACCEPT for the odd brightnes/darkness thing for me. It seems to reset gamma settings or something during movies. But the game as a whole was very playable. Just so you know im playing on 1.5 ghz P4 with 700+mb ram and an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro While there are some obvious glitches here and there etc i enjoyed the time I had playing the game. In fact I enjoyed it more before i started reading these forums I have KOTOR and KOTOR 2 and more than likely will buy KOTOR 3. I guess I am disapointed in some of the things (cut content etc) like others, but the game was and is pretty damn fun.
  5. Just wanted to say after sitting around and just reading that Aurora, you and your team are godsends. After reading John Morgan's comments that a content patch was discussed and rejected , I can only hope that a developer at Obsidian will take the time to accidentily send you all some extra stuff to work at. This was a really good game and with your alls help it will be an awesome game. The one it deserved to be. Thanks a ton!!!!
