  1. Sorry if this has been asked before, but can I ask you how long, on average, one of these sketches takes?

Actually, no one has asked that before...it's a welcome question! For sketches, the time varies; simple ones (singular characters) can take maybe 5-10 minutes to complete, while scenes can take btween 1/2 hour to 1/2 a day depending on the complexity.

WOW. I take three hours to sketch one person and it doesn't come out even half as good. Aimo, you're amazing.

Same here. I timed myself one time, and it took me about 7 hours (occasionally interrupted though <_< ) for an anime-style Atton and it didn't turn out close to what I had in mind. :(

And I think I used up the eraser more than I did pencil lead.

Aimo, you rock, girl! (w00t) :p

  2. While I don't see the point of pointing blame on anything, I'd like to air that I have nothing but "Thanks!" for Obsidian.

With the compressed timetable given to them, they really put out a great game.

Besides, it's not like Obsidian had "complete control" over the characters, story, design.... EVERYTHING was subject to LucasArts' approval. Including the inflexible timeframe.

LA must understand that quality > quantity. People WILL WAIT for great games. Will be disappointed, but will wait nonetheless and will still be happy. How long was Halo 2 delayed? What, 2 years? How about WarCraft 3? Great games and happy people.

With KotOR's success, why would Bioware *not* want to do the sequel game? "Busy with Jade Empire" just sounds too convenient an excuse. But that's just speculation.

  3. Going back to Qui-Gon, i would say he was a Scoundral/Consular/Master if you were to include those classes from the first KOTOR. I say Scoundral 'cause of the way he manipulated(cheated) the dice cube at Watto's. Consular because he was a diplomat and Master because he seemed to be well rounded in the use of the force/feats without being too heavily built in either of them.

    I agree.

On a side note, they got a really good actor to play Qui-Gon Jinn. Sucks that they killed Qui-Gon Jinn off. The Jedi could actually use more of his character on the Council. They're so arrogant and up on their high horse it's a wonder why there aren't as many Dark Jedi at ANY given time as there are Jedi.

  4. Can't put overlays on robes.

Best robes, IMO, are Gray Jedi Robes and Ossus Keeper Robes. Line it with Bioregenerative Underlay III or V and you're good to go!

You can get the Ossus Keeper Robes if you steal it from the Onderon Palace Treasure Room or if you don't steal it, Queen Talia gives it to you (along with the other stuff you could have stolen from the Treasure Room) as a reward for helping her.

  5. Actually, let me check the Core Rulebook...

It doesn't say what Qui-Gon is though it definitely lists Obi-Wan as a Jedi Guardian. But I agree on the Watchman part, though I think prior to being a watchman Qui-Gon is more likely to have been a Sentinel or a Guardian than a Consular. He's too rebellious and relies too much on his instincts and feelings to be a Consular, who is more contemplative.

I think Battle Meditation seems like a good explanation for what he did.

So Obi-Wan Kenobi is Guardian/Watchman? Tech skills and held his own against Maul in a lightsaber duel. Nice.

  6. I always thought that Qui Gon was more of a Consular type Jedi and comparing to KOTOR his prestigue class would be like a Jedi Watcheman because he used to force alot, but he also planned things out and used his brains......

Obi wan would be a Jedi Guardian, like someone said above because he used combat alot throughout his jedi days and then he eventually became like his former master and took on the watchmen role, because as we know Obi Wan, as he gets older, is a perfect mix of combat and force and secrecy and stuff.....always following leads and figuring things out from the inside before he takes physical outside action...like in attack of the clones and in the new hope.....

    IMO, Qui-Gon Jinn was a Consular/Jedi Master.

Obi-Wan has technical skills *making* him Sentinel/Watchman.

    Maul, Marauder, no doubt.

  7. What is your longest time wearing the mining uniform?

I'm re-playing KotOR2 and while I have other armor in my inventory, my PC can wear none except clothing and the Peragus Mining Uniform. :(

Just about to leave the Jedi Academy on Telos and still wearing the mining uniform. Granted it has a Biorestorative Underlay I but still... :)

  8. Just FYI.

Don't get this sidequest from Dol Grenn BEFORE you complete the main quest "Ithorian Diplomacy" (dealing with Loppak Slusk and Luxa) on Citadel Station.

If you do, there would be just 3 generic mercenaries on the path (on Telos' surface) instead of the Rodian and the Devaronian criminals as if you never got the sidequest from Grenn on Citadel Station.

(And yes, there's also that bug where you can just tell Grenn their fate without you physically doing anything. >_< )
