Hmm. uninstalled my Physx 9.10.0129 drivers, let drive sweeper get rid of the rest, installed PhysX 9.09.0814, the game still crashes

Reinstalled both C++ Runtimes and the NET.Framework, still not working. Deleting both application data folders had no effect as well, not even the new "fix" works. Any other ideas?
