Just to be clear, does the game work if you disconnect the Dell? Haven't had an opportunity to try that yet. But ideally, they'd fix it so that it works with external monitors.

Kickstarter backer and Black Screener here. 2012 15" rMBP connected to Dell U2713HM monitor via CalDigit Thunderbolt Station. Game is unplayable for me.
