  1. I can't believe some people here want to keep the current graphics engine kor KIII! Just look at some of those awful lo-poly NPC's you get running around waving thier arms in the air, or the complete eyesores that Citadel Station, Peragus and Malachor were. Infact, most of the KII levels were plain cheesy compared to the environments in K1. Without a brand new engine or a severe overhaul KIII is not going to be able to compete with the other games on the 360. One of the things I would like to see for KIII is improved cloth animation - robes/hair blowing about in the wind, or still if inside a structure. Bump mapping: to bring the textures to life. Real physics: Force pushing an opponent into some crates/cylinders, seing them topple all over the place. Animation: Movie-like duels, effects and fighting styles.
  2. Nice to see people are taking this thread seriously..... oh well what a waste of 30 mins of my life.
  3. Some of my suggestions: * Lightsaber forms: I really liked this feature from KotoR II. However, I would like to see it implemented more realistically. We see from the movies that most Jedi cocentrate on using a single form, mastering it gradually throughout their lifetime. I would like this to apply to KotoR III so the PC learns from the start a form most suited their combat tecnique. For example: If the PC wanted bonuses to defence & bolt defelction he/she could gradually master form III. (as used by Obi-Wan post TPM) If the PC wanted boneses to saber-on-saber combat he/she could chose to learn form II (Dooku) The forms could be visually animated, so you can see the difference between them. Opposed to just having passive stat bonuses. * AI: Even on hard difficulty Kotor1 & 2 were easy. Make the AI more resourceful, cunning and calculated. Just giving them more health and damage is not good enough. *Puzzles: Aswell as multi-choice questions, I would like to see more interactive puzzles. e.g wiring a door/component or something with your mouse + keys etc... The same old datapad view is getting old. ... maybe more suggestions later. Locater, what writing contest is this?? What do you have to do?
  4. Sideous was the most "intelligent" of the sith lords. He successfully manipulated the senete and managed to become the chancellor. He played both sides skillfully for years (Republic & Trade Fed) until he formed the Empire. He had nerve, foresight, look at order 66. He deceived the Jedi Coucil from right under their noses! He used Anakin/Vader's prowess and skill as a tool to destroy the Jedi. Sideous ruled by proxy. He took the Galaxy! Vader: You could argue that Anakin was the 'chosen' one, a victim of circumtance and at the will of the force. However, he was still the most flawed sith lord. Not because of his actions as a sith lord, but his actions as a Jedi padawan/knight. From being accepted into the order at an older age, he was at a disadvantage. Having attachments, fear of losing loved ones etc.. Disregarding the jedi code and wedding padme was dumb and opened him up all sorts of bad things.... just ask Yoda He will tell you. His failure to see through palpatines lies was dumb. His decision to attack Windu was dumb. His decision to pull that stupid flip at Obi-wan and get himself sliced was dumb. His dection to solo Dooku was dumb (EP II), he got toasted first time, then got his stronger arm sliced off second time. I could go on... but in essence he was a PUPPET sith lord. Yes, Vader was powerful, but he had Sideous's hand up his back side all of the time.
  5. Has anyone found Qel-droma robes yet? I found a Qel-droma belt.. but I'm pretty disappointed not to have found the robes after 3 completions of TSL. Do they even exist?
  6. Oh, and one more thing about the random loot system you mentioned. YES, you are correct. What you said has merit, however would you cut off your arm if you touched some dog****? They should improve it, categorise the loot system so droids drop random droid stuff and tramps drop random trampy stuff, see?
  7. I would agree with your suggestions for the most part. However, I disagree about not being able to all your companions into jedi. It was the PC's CHOICE to turn them into Jedi, therefore you could select & train who you felt most suited to weild the force - I liked that. - To be honest I only wish the training of other N/PC's in the force was more gradual. e.g first they attempt to levitate a hydro-spanner or somthing, then they learn about the Jedi history and the better you teach them (through dialouge options) the greater their WIS or CHA.. or whatever. I'm sure you can see what I'm getting at. The whole insta-jedi thing was silly. - My suggestions for KOTOR III character would be a 15-19 year old who is the son/daugter of Bastilla but does not know it. The father could be either Carth or Reven depending on your gender choice of Reven in KOTOR I. Either way this character would strong in the force and like the exile is yet to chose their role in the galaxy. It could have some interesting tie-ins with people like Dustil Onasi (if Carth was your father) you could be his half-brother/sister. Or if people hated Carth (which they do) Bastilla could have force baby like Schmi Skywalker. I would kill for a plot like that! - I would also like more intense lightsaber boss duals. I know it's an RPG but spamming someones health away just seems anti-climatic. All saber forms should be animated, made visual, so you can counter your opponents tecnique. Maybe even interaction with objects so you could make a power coupling fall on someones head or somthing. Come on! lets keep adding.. somone *might* actually read our suggestions.
