  1. Listen to what you just said, and really think about it. I mean REALLY, *think about it. You can't separate the two, they are one and the same.
  2. then why does every single one of your posts include a comparison between the two? seems to me youre the one thats making the issue a "bioware vs. obsidian" one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you really this ignorent? Please seek and read my original post in this thread. This game is a *sequal. You compare any and all things after-- to the *original product (KOTOR1 created by BIOWARE). Not only is it a sequal but the same engine was used from Bioware's KOTOR1. Any comparison between the two is more than legitmate, fanboy.
  3. i edited my post because i didnt want to continue the argument, however..... you are being a troll because all youve done is attack obsidian and their credibility and ability to make games. you constantly compare them to bioware and say they arent even in biowares league. im not sure how thats NOT being a troll. are you telling me that if you went to biowares boards and, hypothetically, did the opposite and said that bioware sucked and that they werent even in obsidians league, that the moderators at bioware wouldnt ban you within 15 minutes? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If I went to Biowares board and could back up my claims, and wasn't vulgar about it, then yes, they wouldn't ban me. Look, this isn't about Bioware, which was the point you should have gotten by now. Obsidian is in a league of their own on this one, created by them. They have voluntarily 'separated' themselves from the big boys in the gaming industry with KOTOR2, and have a well deserved seat at the 'kiddies' table.
  4. this is the type of poster i wish the mods had more power to easily ban. you arent adding ANYTHING constructive and just insist on trolling every thread you post in. i really hope feargus stays true to what he said about more strict rules for trolling and giving mods the power to ban more freely. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh, I get it now. Just because you dissagree with my point of view I am automatically labeled a 'Troll'. You have a twisted view on what trolling is. I've noticed people here tend to use it liberally, and just throw it around whenever they want. Trolling is going around and saying "ObsiDiAn is A nOoB!".... My posts are no where near that. Anything I have ever complained about I have backed up with facts. Backing up your claims is NOT trolling. IT's called criticism open for debate, and just because I happen to be right you want to label me a 'troll'.
  5. "BiowareJr." Who is refering to Obsidian as this? Obsidian is no where near the league of Bioware. Bioware and Obsidian are complete polar opposites, in the way they develop to how they handle their player base. They couldn't be more different, and that can't be any bigger of an insult either.
  6. I have to keep posting it because it keeps getting removed by Obsidian. These guys can't take the fire, like I said. My original post has been removed, so I have to post it 'gurella' style in threads.
  7. I can't believe that the Obsidian employees want to close the boards down because they are getting so many negative posts it's hurting 'moral'. Ohhh, booo hoo! Poor Obsidian! You know, I don't see ANY OBsidian employees appologising or admitting to how screwed up the game was. No one is taking any kind of responsibility here and you want me to feel sorry for you? Grow up, you guys are in the big league now (probably not for much longer though, I give you 2-3 years before you go outta business). This industry doesn't forgive or forget, deal with it. Well Obsidian, you might want to take a look inward and search out why so many people are angry and upset. For one, as your customers we have a right to complain about something we bought from you. Granted anything vulgar sohould be removed, but all else should stay. If you guys can't even defend your good name, then don't even try - and if you shut these boards down. It will only prove testament to the entire gaming industry at large that you guys really can't take the fire. Apparently Obsidian's PR skills are as bad as their developing.
  8. My original post was delted.... so I have to fight to make my say heard. I paid $50 bucks for this game, I have every right to express my complaints.
  9. You are just stupid. I can't be any more direct than that. Yes, LA made the recordings. I said that from the beginning. HOWEVER, LA doesn't have JACK to do with the development, and had no more hand in creating the game than you or I. LA made the music, *gave* it to Obsidian, and in turn, Obsidian used the music BUT MADE THE DESCISION TO USE IT IN *MONO*. LA DID NOT MAKE THIS DESCISION, OBSIDIAN DID. IT'S OBSIDIANS FAULT!
  10. You're wrong on every account, read Mark Griskey's (the composer) diary at gamespot. When the Xbox version came out, i ripped all the songs to mp3 and asked Obsidian for permission to release it as a torrent. They answered that they don't control it, since they have no involvement in making the soundtrack. They later forwarded my PM to one of the producers of Lucasarts, who said no. Remember that we're talking about Star Wars here, Lucasarts have much more to say than a regular publisher has over the developer's game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Re-read my post. Lucas Arts probably does own the music, I stated that in my post. That's not the issue. The issue was Lucas Arts owns the rights to the music, but it was up to Obsidian's discretion in how THEY CHOOSE TO IMPLEMENT IT into KOTOR2. And they made the *decision to implement it in MONO! THUS, OBSIDION, NOT LA, IS ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE. If you still can't get it through your head, maybe someone can translate the above in eubonics for you.
  11. Apparently you both know very little on how the gaming industry, or the entertainment industry in general, works. Obsidian is the *DEVELOPER*. They were given the music, and it was up to them to decide how they wanted to implement it into the game. LUCAS ARTS created the music? Probably. But it was left entirely up to the DEVELOPER [OBSIDIAN] on how it was to be implemented. OBSIDIAN made the descision to make it MONO! SO. THERE.
  12. No, it's not a joke. Indeed the sound is in MONO. Add this to the long list of complaints....which are all unforgivable. OBSIDIAN = bunch of incopitent no-talent hacks. They are now a *joke to the rest of the gaming community, I hope they never recover and go out of business. If there's any justice Obsidian will go bankrupt within 3 years, and dissapear forever.
