Some people, even those teaching, don't tend to get that often enough.

That worries me. A lot. I did some of that in my college course and I've done more of the same so far at Uni. Sounds similar to advice I've heard elsewhere.

They have nothing *to* discuss. It'd just be a waste of their time if they joined in with the speculation/bickering that's going on at the moment. I'm sure there'll be plenty of interaction once they've announced project X.

Yes, but in general when one insults another, one must make sure that same insult is not applicable to oneself. Else the irony is rather...overbearing, as we see whenever Johnny insults the intelligence of another person. ...ye ain't much fun at parties, is ya, lad???... ...WHO LUVS YA, BABY!!... Whereas you're the one who spends a lot of time by the punch bowl, attempting to make it more lethal

There are quite a few game dev courses at various Unis, though some will be better than othes. So far I'd say the one I'm on (Games Programming) should come in handy.

Personally, I can't see anything wrong witha little political discussion, but I'd hope that it wouldn't swamp this forum, as I can't see anything resembling Ye Olde appearing here.
