Graphical Problem/Bug - HELP ME!

Question

Posted (edited)

Hey guys!

So I've played through the whole game twice now with Reinhart and Katarina but I've never encountered this bug until now. I started playing with Lucas today and after a few hours I've came across this horrible bug which I just couldn't fix.

Basically, the game screen turns to a solid color (depending on the area I'm in, I guess). For example - brown or green. Also, the game starts lagging unimaginably. I've tried everything I could think of and nothing managed to move this bug out of my way. I have recorded this bug and uploaded a video on YouTube:

Any suggestions? I'm all out.

what are your system specs?

OS: Windows 7

Processor: AMD Sempron 3600+ (2.00GHz)

Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT -- Current version 275.33 (up-to-date)

RAM: 3GB

Playing with the lowest game settings @ resolution 640x360 (old processor as you may have noticed).

Anyway, as I mentioned, I didn't have this problem before. I played through the whole game twice now and I've had no problems whatsoever...

And I thought I was the only one who had this problem! :sorcerer:

I mainly had this issue in Gunderic Manor and the Heroes Crypt but I haven't run into it since. Playing on high settings at 1024x768:

OS: Windows 7

Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3GHz (haters gonna hate)

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 4650 512MB

RAM : 2GB

Would love to see a solution to this though.

Have you by any chance tried recording while this thing happens?

Because I was trying to record this part of the game with Fraps and now that I tried playing through it w/o recording I managed to get past that point where it happens.

Still, I'd like to see a solution, because I want to record some gameplay...

So I've found out it is caused by FRAPS because I only encounter it when recording.

Any suggestions? How can I fix it so I can record that part?
