New blog post on Marburg's villa.

 

Most important snippet (imo):

The level had been designed to support the old gameplay, mostly corridor shooting, quicktime events, and context sensitive action (like the ability to throw a cup of hot coffee at an enemy, like Dead Rising, more or less).

 

We already kinda knew about QTEs and no-stealth, but as far as I recall, this is the closest we got to an actual description of the early iteration's gameplay.
