This occured both with Kalakoth's Minor Blights and Caedebald's Black Bow and wasted a spell cast for each. I can't imagine this is normal. Character was standing off to the side and was not engaged in combat. No damage other than from Deleterious Alacrity of Motion.

 

Attached the combat log because I was wondering what was going on and found that my character had resisted her own cast.

 

 

Ah, also realized that Xoti's lantern gives party resist magic 23%. Still, can't imagine that's normal behaviour to stop your own summoned weapons?

Anyone address this?

Thanks for the post! There are a fair amount of beneficial spells resisting effects, so if this isnt in already I will ensure it is logged for our QA to investigate and bug.

I don't think this was ever fixed? I just saw Fassina resist her own Llengrath's Warding Staff. She had magic resist from Xoti's lantern.
