One of these descriptions is wrong, and I'm fairly certain Death of 1000 Cuts isn't supposed to link to Death the state. Unless of course Death is timed and this somehow modifies that.

 

I got Death of 1000 Cuts casts on my party member, Ydwin, via arcane reflection. That was when I was able to see the description of it when it's inflicted.

 

Also, a UI issue is when there are enough buff/debuffs inflicted on a target it just runs off the bottom of the screen and you can't see what they have.
