I have Eder set up as a swashbuckler and I am making sure to flank, blind, hobble or put afflictions on enemies but I can not tell if he is getting sneak attack or backstab bonus as I do not see it mentioned in the combat log ever.  I do see other passives trigger like Riposte.  How can I tell if the sneak / backstab bonus is triggering?

If you hold shift and click on the damage value in the combat log, it will tell you how the damage was calculated.
