I would like to run the game in windowed mode at 1440x900 but this is not an option for me in the game settings.  I found the registry key that defines resolution at Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Obsidian Entertainment\Pillars of Eternity II and set the dec values for Screenmanager Resolution Height and Width to 900 and 1440 respectively, however when I launch the game it resets to 1440x1050.

Any clues as to what I need to do to apply the custom resolution successfully?

Changing the registry key didn't work for me either.

 

A program called "Sizer" did work however. (But you need to use it each time you start the game.)
