Hi. I have a level 4 barbarian(base) / chanter(skald), and I have 4 rage but only 2 phrases at max. Is this right? AFAIK I should have had 3 resources max for both classes at start, which I did for rage. I thought that maybe it's an undocumented Skald thing, but I should be gaining more as I level right?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place or if I'm missing something obvious.

Update: I tested on new characters - seems like the 2 starting phrases are indeed an undocumented downside for Skalds. Regular Chanter had 3. Still wonder why I didn't get more on 2nd power level, but maybe it's because 2nd level invocations have same base cost as the first level ones?

Same thing but i am not sure if its intended or not, its not hurting build much but will be nice to have max phrases as regular chanter!

Heya darkbrightup,

Chanters work a bit differently from other classes; a Chanter's max phrase cap is equal to the phrase cost of their highest costing ability. So if your most expensive invocation costs 2 phrases, your phrase cap is 2.

Hope that clears things up!

I try my very best.
