I've been over every inch of Deadlight about 20 times and can't find anything to progress this quest beyond the instruction to search Fort Deadlight.

Hi, Weavols. I'd still really like to see a save file for this issue as I want to be sure something else isn't getting wonky, but below is where you can find the clue in Fort Deadlight:

 

 

In the hallway with the smithy, the doorway to The Court and all of the stairwells, there is a room at the far end of it (eastern end). Inside this room is a chest and a wardrobe. Having Serafen walk past the chest will trigger a dialogue and he'll search the chest for a clue.

 

 

If that doesn't work, please let us know and we'll go from there.
