I have the pet with me (desert wurm hatchling)

Every time I enter a new map, the pet comes to me flying from far away.

 

expected behaviour:

When I enter a new area the pet comes with me and it stands ( well, flies ) close to me.

There is no reason why it should come from somewhere else.

There is another problem with the pet:

It moves much slower than the party.
