When fighting the broodmother my rogue got knocked out but I won the fight.

I returned to town and finished the quest, gaining enough exp for level up.

I saved the game and quit playing.

When I started again, the red injury symbol next to the portrait is gone, but the tooltip is there when I put my mouse over it.

 

I think that the red text in the character screen is very hard to read.
