So I was caught stealing inside a house in Tikawara. The NPCs in the house became hostile and I had to kill them. However, when I left the house, all the residents of Tikawara were hostile.

 

I do not believe that this is intentional of the game, since it would not make much sense.

You know, I feel alone here, while everyone gets an answer, except me. I´ll just cry here.

Sorry for the late reply! This is currently the design. They're all from the same faction so it will set them all hostile. It is definitely a bit "gamey", and we'll keep an eye out if this reads oddly in game.
