Valeros weapon recharge not working

When playing a weapon with Valero’s and going for the discard to get the additional dice, I do not get a message/option for recharging my weapon. I only get it with icy long spear +1 after a reroll. Is that normal? Thx in advance for response.

It's not normal.  It is a recent bug and the devs are already on it.
