Main char's grimoire without any spell

It's funny but my wizard started the game with some spells but non of these spells can be found in my grimoire, while merc wizard has its own grimoire with set of spells. Even after leveling up my wizard and picking new spells, my grimoire is still empty. I don't count class abilities.
