I just bought an infinite number of Hammer & Chisels

Featured Replies

1. Go to Vektor and get him to trade

2. Drag any item with infinite supply to the trade area of the merchant instead of clicking on it as intended

3. The infinite supply costs 0 gold, buy it

4. Hear everyone in your party complain as their inventory fills with said item

5. Sell the item in stacks of 5 at a time to the merchant and restock from your infinite supply in the stash

6. ???

7. Profit (infinite moneyz)

lol

Shouldn't actual infinity fill your bag to infinity and turn your backpack, and the game, and your computer, into a black hole?

Screenshots of this one, come on, lol.

On a side note, I'm unable to reproduce your interaction bro.

Dragged the infinite supply to the trade inventory slot, tried clicking on purchase, nothing happens.

Tried with each stack of infinite items in turn, no luck with any of them.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for the heads up! This issue is now being tracked internally. If anyone is still curious, you cannot purchase the infinite stack until dragging another non-infinite stack of items to the inventory. So if you were to drag an infinite stack of Hammer and Chisels to the "buy" window, you are unable to purchase them, but if you add a stack of Coral Snuff to that, the Trade button can be pressed. I definitely don't recommend doing this, since you end up with negative 2 billion copper, but hey, it's fun :)
