[3.06.1254steam] Slimy face in the Ruins of Cilant Lis is not interactable

In the beginning of the game in the ruins you're encountering the huge slimy face on the wall which you can wash and insert gem into. The problem is while the head is highlighted it's not interactable. I can click on it but nothing is happening.
