Enemies stop attacking

this bug seems common among pillars of eternity players, and its happening in my game as well with some enemies. for example ,it happens with falanroed. she alaways attacks me for some time, but then suddenly stops and the a.i stop attacking altogether. re-loading the game does not seem to change that. i have installed the i.e mod, but entering the game without the mod does not seem to change that. is there a A.I mod or bug fix patch available to correct this problem ?
