Player keep in Deadfire?

Apologies if this has already been addressed somewhere...has anything been said about there being a keep or an equivalent of in Deadfire?  

 

I do mean outside of what happens to the original at the beginning.

I'd recommend looking at Fig update 16 which goes over some of the basics and the deep dive into the E3 vid briefly shows the inside of the ship at the start, and later on, shows how the ship based events work in general.

Appreciate the links...I've watched a lot of the updates but haven't gotten to that one yet.

 

Only seen the ship briefly I believe on a recent video.
