Woiq Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 (edited) It's more of a story/narrative/lore question than one about balance. Played a ranger in the first Pillars and was slightly disappointed that the soul-link he had with his animal wasn't really acknowledged in the game's story (unless I missed it). I know it's difficult to implement that within the systems of the game, but I was wondering if that is something that could be potentially added in Deadfire. I'm not even talking about full-fledged interactions or quests (that would seem a waste of resource to do that for just one class), but is it possible that at least a few dialogue choices for flavor could be added, like the many ones ciphers had? Mikeymoonshine Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 I seem to remember there being some ranger dialogue choices, tho I haven't played one so I don't really know what they were. I think Ciphers got a lot because their abilities are kind of more suited to interacting with individuals. Wizards got a lot too where as I don't remember my Druid getting anything much.
