Horrible audio stutter

Hello,

 

I have KOTOR2 from GOG. It was going well, but sometimes the audio stutters a lot and it is helluva annoying to play. Restarting the game usually helps, but since meeting with Vrook on Dantooine this stutter does not go away, no matter how many times I restart the game. I also have the latest version of restored content mod installed. Is there some way to fix the audio problem?
