Confused and Charmed Allies VS AI

Is there any chance another patch is still going to polish everything off, and on the condition of that being the case, can we please finally get a fix for the AI to not be so stupid as to start attacking charmed and confused allies? Abilities that remove control of a character are a frustrating thing to begin with, as they should be. I like charms and such in my RPG. But for the AI to start pwning your squishies is kinda infuriating and AI was added quite a few patches ago.

 

PS Love the game, sorry for complaining.
