Im new to the game and was wondering whether Ameiko and Orik can be added to parties I form.

Nope, only in the tutorial. Although you'll see them as cards in the future.

It would be nice to have the possibility to play with them, though - maybe for the Quest Mode (which is more random than Story Mode) they could be added as playable characters in the future, no?

I don't recall how I did it, but I managed to glitch them out of of the tutorial once.

 

Nice and OP for the early scenarios, but with a limited skill tree and no roles, you wouldn't be able to take them further than AD3.  ;)
