In story mode, when starting the last adventure in #4 (where you fight mokmurian), I took the clockwork librarian into the adventure as an ally. It had a cute message where it "Stuttered to life" and went to look at the books. However, it's name was titled "Nualia" instead of "Clockwork Librarian".
