Hi all, only a few hours into my first game of PoE, I kept getting kicked back to desktop. It would happen randomly, sometimes while at the main menu as well. When I get thrown back to the desktop, my taskbar and desktop icons are absent for a bit. I've searched around on my own (background processes to close, etc) but haven't had any luck.

 

Don't know if it matters, but I have a GeForce 770, 16 GB of RAM and the game is installed on an SSD.

Hi - maybe a few more infos could be helpful:

 

Which operating system, which version?

Are you using Steam or GoG or...?

Which Nvidia driver version?

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
