Hi.

 

I have a druid with Novice Suffering, going unarmed when not shifted.

 

Now - when I cast Avenging Storm it won't work in my human form as long as I don't use a "proper" weapon. Once I switch to the spiritshift form it works.

 

I guess the effect of Avenging Storm gets applied to the active weapon - and you don't have a weapon equipped when unarmed...
