When you evade to the Temple, you're instructed to "reset your hand and end your turn". If I'm not mistaken, the option to discard cards from your hand is part of the "reset your hand" step of the turn. Instead, moving to Temple automatically draws up to your hand size and ends your turn.
You can use the 'Mark Solved' button beneath a post that answers your topic or confirms it's not a bug.
The time that devs don't have to spend on the forum is a time they can spend on fixing the game.
