Goblin Pyro hit my before I act for 7 damage, not the 1 damage listed on the card.  There were no wildcards which would have added damage.  Any idea what happened?

Goblin pyro deals 1 damage after the combat check, so it Sounds like you get normal combat damage 7. But it does not explain why you did not get the combat check.

 

The check difficulty to Goblin pyro is 8, so it seems like you did "roll" one for that check.

What did happen before the check. Who was doing the check Are where were you at that moment?
