Created items don't reset daily uses at rest

 I created a staff from an old PnP DnD game. It was added to my inventory via console command and worked great the first time I used it. It has five spells that are all 1 use per day. When I rested the uses didn't reset. I am sure this is a simple thing but I can't figure it out as I am very new to the construction set. Any ideas how to fix this?

A rest is usually less than a day, so you may need to wait longer.
