When I first loaded the game I clicked play, and it said I was in Offline mode. It gave me the options "continue" or Login". When I clicked login, the prompt box closed and nothing else happened. I can't click the button in the upper left corner to "link" either. Nothing is happening. And I can't access the store to buy Dailey gold or anything. Halp!

You have to connect by logging in google play app or play Center app. You can not connect in the game app.

Yes you can! It's not reliable, but you most certainly can (and should be able to) do your Google Play login transparently in the background when the App loads. Of course if you are using different Play accounts or don't save your Play credentials (if that's even possible), that might cause a problem.

Yep. Some users has reported problems when there Are several accounts in the same device. So the safest way is first login the google play or play Center and start the app From there. If you have only one account in the device it can be easier.

You have to connect by logging in google play app or play Center app. You can not connect in the game app.

So this is incorrect and misleading information. There a difference between "cannot"and "should not". If there are conditions on your advice or assertions you should state them.

Aaa... I mean if you allready start the app and it does not connect, you can not connect inside the app, but have to first check out that google play or game Center Are working correctly. Didn't catch that From your first ansver :)

That makes sense - except if it doesn't log you on IIRC you can tap the GooglePlay badge and it logs you in. Of course if you failed to log in as a result of connectivity issues this won't help ;)

Hey everyone. Thank you for the replies. I somehow had my Game Center account turned off. I think because I kept receiving bot requests. Once turned back on, I was able to fully enjoy the game.
