There are some triggered mandatory discard that want a single card, but also give you the possibility to discard additional cards.
In that case the X button doesn't work (cause the first discard is mandatory), but also you can't change your mind with the additional (and optional) cards you select after the first one (cause the undo base mechanic works on the full discarded set only).
