Brooch of Shielding

I'm pretty sure this is either a bug or a typo on the card.

 

The Brooch's first ability reads 'Recharge this card to reduce all damage dealt to you by 1.'

 

However, when I was replaying 1-1 Attack at Sandpoint, I took 1 fire damage from a goblin dying and my only options for the Brooch was to either discard it to the 1 damage or bury it to prevent all damage. I wasn't able to use its first ability.

I've had the same problem with poison damage from the scenario effect in Quest mode. The D6 rolled and came up 1 but the brooch only offered discard or bury. Here's a screenie for reference

Typo or bug. Have not seen the physical version of that card, so can not say... But i Expect a bug in this case. Seems to be a variant on ring of protektion and recharge Sounds more plausible than discard.
