Whenever I use gale armor for its movement ability, after I move I am unable to recharge other magical armors in my hand.

Welcome to the forums and thanks for joining us! I'm not sure what you mean by this. Gale armor does not have the ability to recharge other armors in your hand. If you are proficient with heavy armors, you can recharge the card when you reset your hand.

Sorry for the poorly worded report, I'll attempt to explain it better, (I can't figure out how to attach a photo of it)

When I use gale armor in the end of turn phase, in the following the optional discard phase, I can't recharge other magical armors/shields that were also in my hand (even though I'm using Valeros who has heavy armor proficiency).

Also when I am allowed to make my optional discards the indicator thingy in the top right remains, at the two arrows (end of turn) instead of switching the the trash can.

The card you were talking about, did it happen to be Magic Half Plate? What other armors are in your hand? 

I was unable to recharge Magic Half-Plate, Magic Shield, and Deathbane Shield
