Quest Mode Reset to Earlier Level

I woke up this morning and went into quest mode and noticed I was in the middle of a quest.  I knew something was wrong as I had just completed one before going to bed last night.  I also noticed my recently acquired Flaming Mace +1 and Light Crossbow +1 were no longer in my characters decks.  I finished the quest and when completed it showed I was level 10.  That was quite a few quests ago as I was either level 13 or 14 when I went to bed last night.

 

I know people have probably had worse things happen to them in this game but it's frustrating to lose all that time put in to level up and acquire better items.  This game is ridiculously buggy and as much I love playing it I think I may need to put it on the shelf until they get it working properly.
