Bit of a weird problem this evening.

 

I was playing Approach to Thistletop, and in the Prison location I encountered Collapsed Ceiling barrier.

 

Unfortunately I failed to bypass it, and, as per the card it became the first thing that any other character at that location encountered. However, from that point forward , even though it was "encountered", no character was able to effect it. The option to attempt a check, or even discard a card, never came up. Effectively removing two characters from the game, as the other effect of the card is to prevent characters leaving the location.

You have to drag the card to the upper part of the screen...

Known hard to find feature for cards that stay a top of location deck.
