Ok so I want to start playing this game and I cannot even pick my team. There is no instructions on how to do it. All that money for a tutorial, sucks. So how does one get to play the game? Or do I need to insert more coins? Damn in app purchase crap, greedy companies, want your money but don't want to give you what you pay for.

You may need to go through the tutorial at least the once.  Once you complete it, it takes you right to the party creation page to set you off on the main Rise of the Runelords path with characters of your choosing.

 

There may be a way to bypass the tutorial but since I did it, I can't really say.

The 2 initial characters are great to start your party.  I suggest start with them, go through the first 3 missions, and when u get a feel for the game make your own party!
