When prompted to log in, I try but nothing happens. It doesn't do anything actually, the actual popup screen with this choice just disappears when I attempt to log in.  Is this expected or a problem on my end?

I had the same problem, but signing into game center solved it for me.

I didn't get the log in screen at first, but after closing out and restarting, I logged in and everything worked fine.
