New to this thread and hope someone can help.

I have just purchased a new HP laptop. Specs as follows

windows 10

intel i7 - 6700hq

RAM 8gb

intel HD graphics 530

Mostly for photoshop but loved all the BG and icewind dale games and just spotted this one and looks right up my street.

 

Having a look on the min specs I believe my main issue is the graphics card. However have read people have been using a hd 4000 card and not sure if this is lower or higher when it comes to power

. I am happy to lower the specs on the game if it helps.

Would love a demo to try the game out and see if tit works.

Any chance it may work?!!

Welcome to the forums and thanks for joining us! You should be able to run the game but it might be pretty sluggish. You get a better understanding on your build, you can go to http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=5321&game=Pillars%20of%20Eternity and input your specs and it will give you a break down on your machine.
